For a Sea-Dweller, the 16600 is by far my favorite sapphire/modern version, but I'm more of a classic/vintage Rolex guy. I've tried the newer versions over the last couple of years, including the 40MM SD-C (too top heavy), and the 43mm version (too big/heavy period), and I always go back to the 16600. Good review. He put it up and then I got it from him with the full kit including the anchor and hang tags etc. It's very strange that there is virtually no price difference between 16610 and 16600. 16610 is definitely a classic but 16600 is much more "exclusive" and rare and I'm sure the production numbers are just a small fraction of the Submariner. I have worn a 5 digit sub (close to your gmt’s size) and a 16600. I LOVED the Sea Dweller. Heres what I found the most striking/different: the thickness is 14.8mm which is around 2mm taller than the subs, gmt, or bb58.
