They visited Tokyo and Kyoto, where they admired the renowned cherry blossoms (sakura) alongside courtesans dressed in gleaming kimonos. The women recalled the polychrome prints in Saint Laurent’s apartment on the Place Vauban. He did not acquire any prints any while in Japan. 1. Fushimi Inari Taisha. 2. Kiyomizu-dera Temple. 3.
