However, even bigger news is that the new steel Pepsi uses the latest version of the GMT movement: caliber 3285, which replaces the cal. 3186 used in the last aluminum bezel version (and which is still in use in other GMT-Master II watches, including the white gold Pepsi ref. 116719BLRO). The newest version of the Pepsi-bezel GMT Master Il brought a host of changes, but how does it stack up to the original? It’s obvious that a lot of work has gone into the design and execution of the Pepsi — Rolex put in a lot of effort when creating this vintage-inspired piece. So as not to be confused with the more expensive white-gold Pepsi, the steel Pepsi is the first Rolex sports watch that has a five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet, previously reserved for Datejust models.The case wears on a classic Jubilee bracelet closed by an Oysterclasp, the first instance of a steel and ceramic Pepsi bezel GMT Master II on a five-link bracelet.
