L'Homme Prada is a modern scent that combines the classic Prada ingredients - amber and iris. There are also notes of neroli, geranium and patchouli. I bought Prada L'Homme when it was released and there wasn't any hype around it. To me it smelled fantastic and I immediately bought a backup bottle (which I still have). It lasts over 10 hours easily and I never had some sort of metallic acidic notes - but the L'Eau version probably has that very slightly, it's certainly a little bit sharper . Was looking for a clean, gentle, soft and versatile fragrance that I could wear on most occassions without smelling too "cologny" and I thought I found it in Prada L'homme. It was described exactly as above, and was recommended often for office/casual wear.
