Although the dial plate was original when MY refinishes one, that alone doesn’t really retain any value. If the dial is rare then I understand doing this. But if it is a modern Rolex, a service dial and new hands is the best option IMHO. Not talking about refinished dials as refinished dials and relumed dials are easy to spot.
