My wardrobe consists mostly of darker colours and I stuff most of my things in a bag organiser of dimension 27cm(L) x 15cm (H) x 10 cm(B). It’s a color that changes with light. The gold hardware affects how the color is perceived. The images on Hermes.com are not the most accurate representation of the color. I would say Bleu de Prusse is a “neutral” in the blue color family. One of the images shows Bleu de Prusse next to other blue colors like New Blue Jean, Bleu Nuit, and . Bleu de Prusse definitely has green undertones, not enough to be a teal and not enough to be a true navy. I have it in box. I have decided this color is one of a kind. It's a color that's (IMO) a little hard to match. I thought it was teal when I bought it but that was on account of the store's yellowish florescent lighting.
Visited boutique during my trip to see if they had any bags in Bleu de Prusse or New Blue Jean since I‘ve yet to see these colors in person. They actually had an available Evelyne TPM in Bleu de Prusse. I ended up bringing her home with me to add to my collection. The E TPM seems much darker than the Bleu de Prusse swatches I‘ve seen online. i have been obsessing over blues also-my photos in the reference thread can attest to that. i think you are right in noticing the similarity between blue abyss and blue de prusse. i have a blue de prusse kelly and will likely bring it in to h to compare to the swatch for blue abyss-but not for a little bit. can't tempt myself right now blue .
