The Omega caliber 8500 is an in-house automatic movement. The rotor winds in both directions to reduce winding time. Power reserve of 60 hours. Swiss made. The pictures below are from an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Golf Edition and a newer style Planet Ocean XL.OMEGA winding parameters. SEAMASTER 120m 250. If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your OMEGA winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD).
"The 8500 calibre does have two barrels, but it's not one for manual winding and one for automatic - both barrels are for both methods. Therefore a full manual wind of 65 turns should give the full 60 hour power reserve, even if the watch is not worn in that time.
